Jodi Faithfull

Private Performace Specialist

Jodi has been involved in athletic development as both a teacher and coach for over 15 years. He discovered his passion for athletic performance first as an athlete himself, and then again as a physical education teacher and sports coach. As teacher and coach, he was driven to help his students become better athletes and rediscovered the world of athletic performance.

Jodi continued to develop his passion and further his knowledge of athletic performance by pursuing his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota. During his second year of graduate school, Jodi dove deeper into the world of athletic performance serving as a full-time intern in the strength and conditioning department, working with 18 different teams and several great coaches.

Over the last eight years since graduate school, Jodi has had an abundance of coaching opportunities; working with many athletes of all levels, from youth to the pros. He has held performance coaching roles in private training facilities and worked with specific high school programs including Centennial, Hill Murray, and Cretin Derham.  Although Jodi has had the opportunity to work with many of Minnesota’s best performance coaches such as Cal Dietz of the University of Minnesota, Dan Meinz of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and Sean Skahan of the Minnesota Wild; he has also held performance coaching roles with the Gillette Wild of the North American Hockey League, as well as Andrews Hockey Growth Program of Eastern Canada.

As a performance coach, Jodi’s biggest motivation and focus is on growth; both for himself and his athletes. Over his career, he has strived to continue his growth by learning from the best coaches in the field and is excited to join Jayme and the staff at FAST and continue to further his expertise. Jodi believes strongly that there is always room for improvement, and is highly passionate to be a continual learner; so that he can then help his athletes achieve maximal improvement and optimal performance.

Along with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Jodi is also certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Performance Enhancement Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Minnesota licensed PE Teacher.
