Missy Bruggeman
Group Fitness Instructor
Missy Bruggeman is a Minnesota native who graduated from the University of St. Thomas ('09) with a double major of Health/PE, and a Master's in Teaching ('11). She's a four-year starter and former First Team All-American outfielder for the Tommie softball program, which led her to her passion of coaching at the collegiate level after playing. She spent 2 years as an assistant with the Tommies, 2 years as a head coach at Southwest Minnesota State and 2 years as the hitting and outfield coach at DI Stony Brook University (NY).

After six years of coaching she left the NCAA to start her own business as a lifestyle mentor, working specifically with nutrition. As soon as she left coaching she began her career as a fitness instructor teaching group and individual fitness for gyms, boutique cycling studios, CorePower Yoga, and barre studios in New York and San Diego. She recently moved back to Excelsior to be closer to family. She enjoys working out, being around fun and positive communities, concerts, festivals, meditating, traveling and sharing her vision of helping others find their "True North" in life.
